The river beautification of ROL also includes cycling and walking trails along the two rivers. The trails is 10.7km stretch and connected to each other. Below are the maps of the trails.
Cycling is one form of active mobility other than walking. Together with users of Personal Mobility Devices (PMD), cycling and walking also contribute in achieving green mobility initiatives to reduce carbon pollution. Kuala Lumpur with Bluprin Low Carbon Society has identified that cycling as one of the strategic actions that need to be improved. In this section, the master plan proposes various strategies for the involvement of future cycling development, not only for recreation but more importantly as a mode of movement. For this purpose, concentration is given to ensure the safety and comfort of cyclists as well as ensuring the provision of adequate infrastructure and facilities to support cycling.
