Ministry of Federal Territories

The Ministry of Federal Territories is responsible for planning, managing, implementing, monitoring,
and evaluate sustainable progress and development with a focus on:

1. The Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur as the capital of Malaysia, and a world -class city;
2. The Federal Territory of Putrajaya as a managed Federal Government Administrative Center, enthusiastic and energetic, as well as prosperous;
3. Federal Territory of Labuan as a business center, oil and gas hub, financial center international as well as developed, beautiful and prosperous tourist destinations;
4. Preparation of policies on Federal Territory affairs, as well as spearheading planning sustainable development;
5. The advancement, development and cultivating of excellent sports in the Federal Territory;
6. Coordination of planning for the Federal Territory; and
7. Leader of sustainable physical, economic, social and environmental development through collaboration inclusive strategy.

Federal Government Ministers Order (No.3) 2020 ["P.U. (A) 201 ') provides that the Minister
Federal Territories as well as the Deputy Minister of Federal Territories are charged with responsibility
regarding the following departments/ matters:

1. Putrajaya Corporation;
2. Labuan Corporation;
3. Federal Territory Sports Council;
4. Kampong Bharu Development Corporation;
5. Native Court of the Federal Territory of Labuan;
6. Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL): and
7. Federal Territory Land and Mines Office (PTGWP).
